Winery of the Month:Our February selection comes from owner Mike O’Connell of Grayson Cellars. Mike still believes that consumers deserve a handcrafted California wine at an everyday “value” price. They send their winemakers throughout California’s finest growing regions to find the highest quality grapes for Grayson Wines. The wines are then made by Larry Levin in Napa, California. Larry has over thirty years of winemaking experience with the likes of Dry Creek Vineyards, Mt. Veeder, Franciscan and Ravenswood. You will find their wines to be fruit forward, well balanced and pleasant to drink. Grayson produces its wines at a state-of-the-art Napa Valley facility near Highway 29. Grayson Cellars Chardonnay -The wine is brilliantly ripe and shows aromas of bright, brisk acidity with notes of peach and pear. The palate offers green apple with a crisp finish showing gentle hints of apple pie and tropical fruit.
