    Hopefully, we can get a few more warm days to be able to sit on the deck in the evening with a nice glass of wine. The firepit might come in handy-just don’t want to give up enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. The arrival of the new season brings excitement and change.
    What a fun time in the store this month attending wine shows to bring in unique wines for your enjoyment. The Holiday giftware is arriving for you and this fall I’ve added to our line of chocolates with some delicious new flavors of liqueur filled chocolates I know you’ll want to try some and they’ll make great gifts as well as a special treat for you.
    With this cooler weather I’ve noticed people are getting more into the reds but also, I’m booking quite a few In-Home Wine Tasting Parties. They’re very educational and a lot of fun for your group. It must be the season but I’m feeling like its going to be a very fun month for us.
    With the excitement of the Big Ten football season let me help you with your refreshment needs when you invite the gang over to watch the games, The Robert Rothschild dips and snacks have made for a lot of great games. (It helps if Nebraska is winning but the dips will always be a winner with your group.)

Cline Cellars

Started in 1982 by Fred Cline near Oakley, California, home of his maternal grandfather Valeriano Jacuzzi. Here, he preserved and restored many ancient vine sites to their rightful reign as premier California wine lands. In 1991, Fred and his wife Nancy relocated the winery from Oakley to the Carneros region of Sonoma County on a historic 350-acre estate with new vineyards and facilities.

Cline Cashmere - this wine is a very flavorful, smooth wine offering big cherry, raspberry and chocolate notes with hints of cracked black pepper and plum. The wine consists of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. This blend was created as an auction lot for the Hospice du Rhone Breast Cancer Network. We’ll donate $1 for every bottle sold this month for breast cancer research.

Cline Ancient Vines Zinfandel - to taste the depth and complexity of flavor of an ancient vine grape just before it is harvested is to understand why the wine made from them is so special. Ancient Vine Zinfandel has flavors of dark berries, coffee and chocolate with great vanilla oak character and a long lingering finish.

Cline Ancient Vines Mourvedre - a new varietal to the Cline lineup of wines. This wine offers a hint of Eucalyptus on the nose, distinct chocolate characteristics and a luscious deep plum flavor. This scrumptious and unusually delightful wine has a substantial mouth-feel followed by soft tannins.

Cline Viognier - the Viognier is a tricky grape to grow. Its natural low acidity requires it to be picked at just the right moment. Cline Viognier shows big pineapple, peach and apricot flavors mixed with citrus and floral notes.
